Guy Couillard
Guy Couillard, is an internationally known consultant and speaker specialized in the management of large scale change associated with the deployment of large technology projects
such as SAP.
Mr. Couillard specializes in the conceptual integration of the different disciplines related to the successful adoption of IT-driven innovations, namely risk management, organizational change & knowledge management, communications and branding, value realization and program management. In that capacity he has helped software providers and consulting organizations establish integrated service offerings supported by reusable methodologies.
In 1995, Mr. Couillard founded OTA in Montreal, Canada to provide R&D, education and consulting services in North America, Europe and Latin America. OTA has since been involved in over 50 large-scale implementations in both the private and public sectors.
Before founding OTA, Mr.Couillard was VP, Technology Transfer, at the Electronic Commerce World Institute, where he was responsible for research, education and technology transfer activities spanning 15 member countries and international organizations. Mr. Couillard has published a number of articles and given many conferences on the topics of organizational change management, risk and knowledge management, electronic commerce and large ERP implementations. He holds a Master’s degree in communications from the University of Montreal and has conducted post-graduate research in the field of technology adoption at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro from 1986 to 1988. He is fluent in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
