OTA was awarded the contract for coaching the internal organizational change management (OCM) team and training of all members of the extended change team for phase 2 of the city’s SAP/ERP strategy. The project focused on all maintenance activities of the city and involved transitioning all of the various branches (i.e. Roadways, Mobile Equipment, Subways, Parklands, Sewage, etc.), to a standard maintenance management process.

Department of Transport (DOT) in Southern USA

OTA was selected to conduct all the activities related to Transition Management for the implementation of a new Information Management System (IMS), in support of the City’s business improvement project. The primary business goal of the project was to improve fiscal-related processes, as well as information acquisition processes within the DOT.

The project implementation impacted approximately 4 600 users. Core users were between 800 and 1 600, while secondary users were estimated to be between 3 000 and 3 800, distributed over 500 locations. The scope of the DOT implementation was to replace the current Fiscal, Project Management, Equipment Maintenance, Inventory Management and Time Entry systems, and introduce new programs to manage Government Funding.

OTA was part of the SAP consortium responsible for a number of Continuous Business Improvement Projects using the SAP solution at the corporate headquarters and a nuclear power generating station in Eastern Canada. The modules included: Plant Maintenance, Material Management, Finance, Customer Care Service (CCS), Project System, Quality Management, Document Management and IXOS.
